Commissions
Commissions are an opportunity to work together to create a one of a kind painting that feels personal to you and fits beautifully within your space.
I take on a limited number of commissions each year, with a focus on pieces that connect with and complement my wildlife painting practice.
Commission Process
Inquiry –We begin with a brief Zoom consultation to connect. You can share the animal or scene you’d like painted, your preferred size, and any reference photos.
Deposit – A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your commission, and I’ll provide an estimated timeline for completion.
Composition – I create a composition or sketch to guide the painting and share it with you by email, inviting your thoughts and feedback.
Painting – The piece develops in my studio, with two progress updates.
Final Review – Minor adjustments can be made before the painting is completed.
Delivery – Once finished and fully paid, your painting is carefully packaged for pickup or shipment
Sizing and Pricing
This is an indication of my prices, price varies based on size and complexity of the piece. Larger sizes are available on request. Payment plans are available.
Commission Guidelines

Clear, well-lit reference photos allow me to create the strongest painting. If an image is unclear, I may request additional photos or interpret certain details artistically.

While I work from reference images, each painting reflects my artistic style and interpretation.

Small adjustments can be made during the process. Once the painting is substantially underway, major compositional changes are not possible.

A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your commission. The remaining balance is due upon completion prior to delivery. Payment plans are available for larger pieces and can be discussed if helpful.
